This program invited Professor Robert Yehoshua Frenkel, a retired professor from the University of Haifa in Israel and a visiting professor of this program, to give a keynote speech on May 29, 2024. Professor Luo Shilin‵s background is in Islamic and Middle Eastern history and Arabic, and he is naturally familiar with the history between Islam and China in the past. Through images and documentary records, we share relevant knowledge and background about this topic in simple and easy-to-understand terms. The lecture content was rich and diverse, and the interaction between teachers and students was lively.
