This lecture invited Consul General Liu Jingyan, who has been working in the diplomatic field for many years, to share his unique insights on Middle East affairs with you. Consul Liu combined his rich diplomatic experience, and used different types of board games such as chess, go and draughts to classify the differences in foreign policy styles and strategies of major national actors in the Middle East. Under Consul Liu‵s humorous explanation, the teachers and students attending the meeting were able to understand the situation and issues in the Middle East from different perspectives. Lecturer and students interacted enthusiastically during the lectures, and students were also very active in asking questions and gaining new knowledge.
