This program will host a lecture on December 11, 2025. The invited speaker is Dr. Ahmet Yiğitalp TULGA, a postdoctoral researcher at the Taiwan Foundation for Democracy. Using Google Trends data from 2017 to 2025, he will compare the differences in search behaviors related to “deepfake technology” between the public in Turkey and Taiwan. The speaker will analyze how political events, media environments, and levels of social attention have evolved in both places, and explore how deepfake technology influences public perception, offering cross-national data insights.
