The 7th Student Conference on Islamic and Middle Eastern Regional Studies Successfully Concludes Jointly organized by the Department of History at Fu Jen Catholic University, the Department of Arabic Language and Literature at National Chengchi University, the Master’s Program in Middle East and Central Asian Studies at National Chengchi University, the Department of Diplomacy at National Chengchi University, and the Department of History at National Chi Nan University, the 7th Student Conference on Islamic and Middle Eastern Regional Studies was grandly held on January 6, 2026 (Tuesday) at Wenhua Building, Fu Jen Catholic University. Continuing the tradition of being student-centered over the years, the conference covered research topics such as the Palestinian issue, Iran–U.S. relations, Kurdish independence, and Syrian refugees—key international focal points. It also expanded into areas of regional politics, human rights, and cross-cultural exchange. Through enthusiastic submissions and presentations from students across universities, participants gained deeper insights into the diverse facets of the Islamic and Middle Eastern world. The discussions sparked new research perspectives, showcasing the passion and achievements of Taiwan’s academic community in advancing related studies.
